Ted's distinguished career began at Standish, Ayer & Wood - one of Standish's predecessor firms - in 1962 and he became Chairman in 1989. He became Chairman of Standish in 2001 and Chairman Emeritus in 2004. He serves on the International Advisory Board of Walden International Investment Group. He is a Director of the Conservation Law Foundation and The Trustees of Reservations, and a Trustee of the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Wheelock College. Ted is also Chairman of the Boston Committee on Foreign Relations, a member of the WGBH Board of Overseers, and Vice Chairman of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation. He is a former Director of Citizens Financial Group, Harvard Management Company, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Ted has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University. |

Mitchell joined Standish as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman in 2004 from Pareto Partners, where he served as CEO from 2000 to 2004 and still serves as Chairman. He joined London-based Pareto Partners in 1993, which developed into a fixed income and currency overlay manager and was partly owned by Mellon. Prior to joining Pareto Partners, Mitchell managed Citibank's Private Bank business in Frankfurt, Germany. His other responsibilities during his 14-year tenure at Citibank included managing the offshore banking, investment trust and Treasury business for Citibank's European Private Bank in the Channel Islands and managing the London Private Bank of Citibank for European Mutual Fund distribution and Marketing. Mitchell began his career as a strategic planner for the City of New York. Mitchell is a member of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation Senior Management Committee and holds an M.P.A and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.

Des is Standish's President. He is responsible for product development and has line management responsibility for Investment Operations, Technology, Risk Management, Trading, Finance and Standish's Product Solutions Group. Des also sits on the Fiduciary Risk Committee of BNY Mellon.
He joined the company at the start of 2005 from Pareto Partners, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. Des has over 19 years of related industry experience, including the positions of CFO and Treasurer of GM Asset Management in New York and CFO at Asset International in Greenwich, CT. He has also worked as Managing Director and Head of European Pension Strategies for Deutsche Asset Management. His early career was spent working with the Frank Russell Company and the London Stock Exchange. Des has an MPhil in Management Studies from the University of Exeter, where he also served as an Honorary Research Fellow, and a BA from University College Dublin. |

Laurie is the Managing Director of Short Duration, Beta and Stable Value Strategies, overseeing the development of and strategy for all beta and short duration portfolios for Standish. Laurie also oversees the management of our Pittsburgh and San Francisco offices. She joined the company in 1986 as a portfolio manager for active core and short duration strategies. Most recently she served as head of portfolio management at Mellon Bond Associates. Laurie has been a participant in the fixed income market since 1981 when she was an assistant vice president for Money Market Instruments at AIM Advisors, Inc. Laurie has an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. from Seton Hill University. She is a member of the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Corporation Board of Seton Hill University.

Christine is Managing Director of Tax Exempt Fixed Income and Insurance Strategies. She manages tax-sensitive fixed income portfolios for larger institutional, insurance and high net worth clients. She joined the company in 1995 from Gannett, Welsh & Kotler, where she was vice president responsible for municipal bond research and trading. Christine has an M.B.A. from Boston University and a B.A. from Georgetown University. Christine is a Trustee for the Dedham Institution for Savings and a floating member of its Investment Committee. She is a member of the Board of Development of Noble & Greenough School and is also active in alumni affairs for Georgetown University. She is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.

Alex is Managing Director of Sales, Marketing and Client Service for Standish and serves as a member of the Operating Group. Alex is responsible for all aspects of business development, product development, marketing and client service; working directly and with various BNY Mellon Asset Management distributors globally. Alex joined Standish as an officer in 2004 from Pareto Partners where he held the position of Senior Vice President, Marketing and Client Service for Pareto's Europe and Middle East clients since 1997. Prior to joining Pareto Partners, he was Vice President and Head of Product Management at Bankers Trust Company in London for five years. Alex has over 20 years' experience in financial markets. He is a Fellow of the UK Securities Institute and holds a Diploma in Accountancy from City of London University.

Kent is Head of Taxable Fixed Income responsible for management of all single and multi-sector taxable bond portfolios and strategies. Kent joined the firm in 1998 as an emerging markets debt analyst. He transitioned into portfolio management in 1999, initially serving as a global high-yield portfolio manager and, in 2001, assumed responsibility for Core Plus portfolio management. Prior to joining Standish, Kent analyzed emerging market bonds for Rowe Price-Fleming International, Inc. in London and spent five years with Jeffrey Slocum & Associates. Kent is a former term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the Fixed Income Management Society of Boston and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BA from Williams College and has 16 years of investment experience.
